How the heck did Utah beat Stanford?

Yeah doesn't seem possible with the way they shut down Oregon for three quarters. I didn't see the Utah game but looking at the recap Stanford turned the ball over twice and it was an away game. But this is two times in a row against Oregon that they look as good as any top team in country. Especially with those defensive performances.

That's how you beat Oregon.. you need a physical front 7 that can disrupt their blocking schemes.. That's how Stanford beat them this year and last.. it's how Auburn beat them and it's how USC got a big lead and held on to beat them 2 years ago.

They can't handle the physicalness

They are just not built that way, and I'm not sure they will ever be. If stanford was able to do that Bama would destroy them upfront. Stanford is no slouch, but they're not bama or LSU mean either. Oregon was calling for Bama before this. The problem is Bama guys can run with oregon guys and they are 20-30 lbs heavier.

I just don't think any West coast team can play that kind of football. the big 10 is big/physical enough, but too slow in most cases.

I don't think FSU can handle it either, but who knows. They look to have a really good team all the way around.
