I'm looking for a way to watch the Troy game Saturday. I have internet from Hughes.net which can't stream a short Youtube video, much less a live football game. Plus, I don't think Hughes is part of the ESPN3 network.

So, is my only choice to find a friend with real internet through AT&T?

Wonder if any restaurant/bar in Starkville will have the game on streaming??

? ESPN3.

A. Will it be blacked out in Starkville? The Bears were blacked out last night here.
B.Will an ESPN alternate on DirecTV show it in our area?

Why a game could only be seen via computer in this day and age is ridiculous

I plan on buying a one day pass for ESPN Game Plan on Direct TV for a few bucks. I believe it will be on there.

You may be out of luck unless...

often times game-plan is blacked out in local areas. If you have an Xbox you can get the ESPN 3 app and watch it that way. I watched several of our basketball games this way last year.

I don't think it will be blacked out. Its an Espn "exclusive."

I think the only reason the OM game was blacked out was because they were on foxsports (or whoever) and espn 3 picked up the coverage for those outside of the fox regional area.

Espn is doing their best to nail the people that have gone cable free.

I believe blackouts are only Effective when the game is on cable. So, I doubt ours will be since it's exclusively on espn3.

Itd be cool if bars hooked up a stream to tvs, not sure if any do.

This sounds like a great idea. I guess I can call DirecTV Monday or Tuesday to see if they'll have the game. If so, a one day pass can't be that expensive.
