How was everyone's experience with Peacock?

Disappointing. I had Peacock for a few years, as part of my cable service, so I have a lot of experience with them, especially for English Premier League matches. When Peacock became something you had to pay for with my cable earlier this summer, I let it drop. However, I signed up for it again on Saturday morning so that I could watch the PSU game.

Twice during the broadcast, I lost coverage due to some hiccup. Each time I got an error message and then I was bounced to the channel I was watching before the game. Each time I was able to to re-load the game within a minute, so it wasn't a huge issue, but I don't expect to lose coverage during a game.

Comcast, the owner of Peacock.
Interesting. So, it looks like many different internet providers had issues. I was just curious if it was one specific provider. There’s no excuse why Comcast customers should have any issues, however, after dealing with them in the past, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

I had high expectations after watching the Tour de France on Peacock this summer. I was sorely disappointed. There was constant buffering and I was kicked out of the app four times. Once out, there was no way to go back in where I left off. It was either pick it up live or guess where I was kicked out. It was a very frustrating experience.
All fact, all acceptable frustration, but me thinks its all about being first to maximize exposure when the B1G has 18-20 teams and a need to have more leverage on ESPN and the SEC.

No problems. Announcers were making calls even when game got out of hand. Network promos were limited to time outs and between quarters.
Only complaint was 2 or 3 times cameras were late getting back to live action after replays.

The only minor quibble I have is that I would have liked them to, at least occasionally, show scores of other games.

I'm at the point where I wish TV would lose the tickers on the screen that do this. I can look up other scores any time on my phone, I'd rather have less clutter on the screen. Unsurprisingly ESPN is the biggest offender and they seem to take up the most space. I miss the small FOX scoring "bug" for the game being televised as it was nice and small and the game took up almost the whole screen.

Not only the "tickers" but the splash screen on the bottom that advertise what you are already watching and the station.
AMC did that during Dark Winds. The problem was there were parts of the conversation in Diné with subtitles and the splash screen covered the subtitles. 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, I agree about the constant, often multiple tickers with added advertising but I wouldn't mind an occasional, unobtrusive update on other games. True I could look it up on my phone but who has the energy for that? ;)

I had some buffering and freezing up in the second half when watching on my TV with a Roku stick. Not a big deal to log back on and then go back a minute or so to see what I missed, but annoying. No problems at all in the fist half when I watched on a different TV via a Comcast box.

I had Peacock for free for a while and never had any issues like that in the past on the same TV/Roku. but I can't say I ever watched anything "live" on it before so I assume it is related to that factor.
