How/why has Stans dominated OM during his career?

Is it overall suckiness of OM? Does Stans take the rivalry personal? Behind closed doors, what does he say to the team to get them prepared? It just seems like we just excel against them even when expectations are not as high as usual. Not a flame post, just curious as to what the board thinks.

By the way, next Sunday the 13th, ESPN is doing documentary on the Fab 5....should be real good!

#2 - we have better facilities
#3 - he's recruited better

Once again, we are Mississippi State. Usually, the teams with the better players win. So while we may not beat the Top 25 type teams regularly (mostly because we're not a Top 25 program), we are head and shoulders above our instate rivals.

If we can get our fans fired up again, and Stans can get some hot shot players in here (like he's about to have in addition to the 2 we already have), we can make a run. The practice facility should help with future recruiting as well.

Even with our disadvantages we have WAY more to offer than Ole Miss in basketball. They have us beat by a small margin in football maybe, not sure if it's still there anymore. Baseball, I think they are still a head above us. Not head and shoulders, but ahead nonetheless.

Mississippi is head, shoulders, and torsoahead of us in baseball. It's not even close.

than most of the others. Which I will admit is a little weird since we only have one guy that starts from Mississippi on the team, and that's Ravern.

Typically, it seems like we are stronger in the post, and we usually have a point guard that is as good or better than theirs, so I think we're a tough match-up for them.
