Will he call it a very mediocre effort or will he spin it like "well, we really addressed some needs on our team with this class."? I am interested to see if he'll call it like everyone else knows it really is or will he "sell" it as a positive class. I think he'll keep towing the "positive" line myself.

You think calling these group of kids mediocre at a publicpress conferenceon the day they sign with us is something he would even consider? Is the class mediocre? Yes. Did we address some needs? Yes. Do we need to call these guys mediocre at a public press conference just to show we are pissed things didn't go our way today? Absolutely not.
sorry my query offended some of your delicate senses. I didn't mean I thought Mullen was going to get up there and say "This is a suck signing class. Y'all deserved better. I suck, this class sucks..." etc. No, I wasn't meaning that. I was just wondering if he'll even acknowledge some disappointments and misses or will it be a completely Rah Rah job like most coaches. Jeez, lighten up. Half of y'all had your head in a damn oven an hour ago anyway. Just wondering how his demeanor will be in the pressers. Simma.
These kids know they'll have to work hard and earn their keep. They want to be at MSU and want to contribute to the upward direction of the program. <div>Now, it sucks about those we lost but now we have to focus on those we kept. I'm excited that we kept Morrow. We need more good hands.</div>
He's certainly not going to throw the class under the bus. I do hope we bank a couple of these s'ships for next year. Only use them if a good one falls from the sky.
