How will Stansbury handle Varnado's record breaking block?

Just curious as to how everyone thinks he will handle the situation. Provided we get the ball and it is an obvious block, I personally think he will call a timeout and let Jarvis get the applause that he deserves. Knowing this team though, it will be a freaking nail biter type game after blowing a lead and he won't have the luxury of calling a timeout at that moment.

we shouldn't have any trouble finding a chance to call time out as we should be stomping a mudhole in their ***.

Tue, but that was on the road and Tasmin Mitchellwent ape ****. I think with the home crowd tonight plus, as I said in the prediciton thread, we're due to punch somebody in the mouth, it will be a different scenario.

there should be no game stoppage. You acknowledge it after the game to the crowd and everyone and let Standsbury do his seal clap for him

Once he breaks it they should make an announcement that he did it and request that fans stay for after the game. They should not stop play and recognize it and I doubt they will anyway.

Everyone in the coliseum will know exactly when it happens and the place will go crazy, whether play stops or not.

This isn't a record like "Most 3 pointers in a game"or some school record. I think this record is worthy of a game stoppage for a quick acknowledgement, presentation of game ball and then resume blowing a big lead. Obviously, if the game is on the road, there will be no stoppage.

MSU placed it in writing and the NCAA said no

It will be recognized postgame tonight if necessary (but he wont get eight tonight) ... but look for a big blowout during Senior Day festivities

Senior Day festivities? Would that not be the Tennessee game?

we'll have a pre-game recognition for the first home game after the record is broken (which would be Senior Day and Tennessee).

what he meant by "big blowout." I thought he was saying we were going to beat the **** out of Bama tonight.
