I have a good friend here in Memphis who's son plays football. He broke out this year (Jr.) but because he moved around to different positions his Fr. and So. year he doesn't have the stats that have brought a lot of recruiting. Good kid from a good family, I just want to make sure someone knows about him.
How would I go about getting a recruit's name in front of our coaches?

Camps are the easiest way to get his name out there. Camping at state can get his name out to other schools as well, if he doesn't fit our system or what not our coaches may bring him up to coaches of other schools that they talk to. Obviously that goes for wherever he camps, doesnt have to be here.
I have no idea what kind of camping options we offer.. so if that was just ignorance that i spewed then trade the camps for the combine style things.

I don't fully understand what I can and can't do being a family friend. I don't want to do anything stupid or hurt the kid with the almighty NCAA. Auburn can shell out $180,000 for a Heisman QB but this kid is just the kind of person the NCAA loves to slam.
Last year I think they were all in june. I am not sure when they'll be this year but I would be surprised if we didn't offer some where you sign yourself up. I know we have the "Big Dawgs" weekend or whatever which is invite only but I bet that is not the only option. Maybe email the athletic department? about your sig pic. I usually use my cell phone to read the board and I have always just seen the girl sitting on the ball and asked myself, "why did he change the pic he had on there". So today I actually logged in on my computer and saw the image in motion. I now understand why. Thank you sir.
