Where does this character rank on the all-time TV series character list?

Going back and watching the early seasons again, dude has me rolling almost every episode.

He wouldn’t be on my list of top-50 TV characters. There may be 10 people off Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad alone.
And if we’re just going off sitcoms with laugh tracks, all four main characters on Seinfeld would beat him. Frank Costanza and Newman would even rank higher for me.
Not hating on you, but I think that’s one of the hottest takes I’ve seen on here.

In terms of comedies, I don’t watch just a ton of them but Michael Scott and Dwight Schrute are both very much in the conversation of all-time characters.

I personally just don’t really find Big Bang Theory funny or interesting. Maybe it was in the early seasons but it seems like that show was on the air way longer than it should have been. The schtick got old pretty quick for me.

That’s typical for any popular show, Hollywood squeezing every last drop. But the first 4-6 seasons were great.

Dwight and Michael are definitely top characters, Michael being ahead, imo.

It was pretty good in the early seasons but it was never great. Chuck Lorre seems to be pretty good at producing a lot of content that is good enough against its competition and some of it good enough for syndication, but nothing ever great.
