The kid needs more touches. 9 yards a carry on 4 rushes over the weekend. 220 pounds so good size. He's fresh too since he just now is getting carries.

Faison is good for one nice solid 10+ yard rush a game and Fuller can get tough yardage with the right blocking. It's hard to rotate three backs in a game but I would let Howell carry the load for a few series against Coastal to see what he can do.

the key comment you made was with the right blocking. Imagine second half or A&M game, if we had any semblance of an Oline, we could have gone vanilla and ground out a few first downs and 3rd and short and milked the clock. OR heck, go back to the first half with all the positive Mo we had and getting to the goal line and not being able to PUNCH it in. Its not the skill players. It is underdeveloped Olineman.

Lots of team rotate three RBs. In that Texas/UGA game, I noticed UGA had four very serviceable RBs and used them all. They weren't superstar RBs but they were definitely SEC quality RBs and they were rotated in and out constantly so whoever the RB was was always fresh. It took a brutal toll on the Texas defense late in the game when UGA appeared to be able to run the ball at will.

Ask our OC/running back coach then why we only rotate two with regularity

What year is Howell? Didn't he transfer from SC State? Hope he has some elicitability left after this year

Transferred in last season after his freshman year at SC State, and actually redshirted last year, only played in 4 games and the bowl game, and this year is a red shirt sophomore, so yes has eligibility left.

I really like him and Fuller. We actually have a lot of good young players. Here’s hoping they all come back next year. I’m just like the rest of you. Unless Beamer gets fired he must get a good OC and more better offensive lineman.

Raisin is a joke compared to Howell! He stops when he get to the line! I believe he
runs with his eyes closed!!
