wonder if this was b/c Eatmon didn't pull the trigger and we simply weren't willing to wait on him. Little surprised we took a JUCO lineman though but does provide some immediate depth is Tobias continues to struggle to stay healthy

from the way it sounded it was either Howie or Eatmon. I don't think they planned on taking both, but I may be wrong.

In his interview on BDJ, he says they are still talking to him about playing DT. I think he will start out there and then move to OL if they think he is a better fit there. Mullen has said that he thought we were undersized at DT so i'm not suprised we are bringing in another JUCO guy. Outside of Cox and Boyd we don't have any other proven DTs. Jones is undersized, Odom, Prince, and Williams have no business being on an SEC roster, and Jackson still needs to step it up.

For the first time in three or four years, we will have some legit SEC sized DTs.

Steve says it's for DT as well.....really suprising as I think we could have gotten this guy in a week or so if we'd wanted as we were his biggest offer and I thought Wilson/Diaz might have a guy or two they'd like to try and go get.

Suprised that (1) it's a JUCO that doesn't get out until the Spring and (2) we took another DT

of a program that is worse than 26-46 since 2004 that consistently signs better offensive linemen than us.

Our line paved the way for us ot be the #1 rushing team in the SEC last year, it's obvious we have plenty of talent up front.

so if you aren't drinking, we just have to assume you are in fact an idiot. Maybe you should stick with the drinking theory.

and what we've done in other areas of recruiting and the coaches and progress we've had, I thought maybe we should have picked up a few OL with offers from other than LA Tech and Southen Miss..

so damn sorry to expect more...please forgive...

of a team with a record worse than ours picking up better linemen? Southern has been in a bowl game 12 of the last 13 years. La Tech has won 6 or more games 3 times since 2004.

Again, show one program worse than 26-46 since 2004 that has consistently recruited better linemen than us. I guess it would be helpful to show the margin they led the conference in rushing offense in, as that to me, is the sign of a pretty good line. For reference, we were 2 yards better than Florida per game. So this school that recruits better linemen than us consistently needs to be worse than 26-46 over the past 6 seasons, and will have needed to have led their conference in rushing by more than 2 yards per game for me to believe your original statement that lesser programs all over the country sign better offensive linemen than us.

I hope Dr. Keenum pulls your offer. I dont care how good your grades are, who you volunteered for, or how rich your dad is. I only want kids that WANT to be at State. You seem like a prima-donna attention ***** that would only cause problems amongst the student body.
