I’m just joshing. I remember about 2 months prior to the season beginning, I was like a surly bear. Now I chomping at the bit for things to get going
I am very excited about this year, even though I think we can have our ups and downs. The development of the athletes I am looking forward to most.

Logjam of young studs around his weight. Michigan got a good kid with high upside. Can’t really begrudge him making that decision and won’t pull the “He’s just scared to compete” BS

This one sucks. Great kid and would potentially open up a future pipeline for AWA kids. It may have been possible to keep him but its a done deal now. Will be anxious to see how this may affect future AWA prospects.

Michigan, I hope they can develop him. I’m still a fan of his! I hope he makes 4 finals and loses every one to an OSU guy. If it’s not an OSU guy, I hope he wins it!
What was the potential? Money, better discussion about how we’d use him? The implication is that we had the chance to convince him to stay but didn’t. Is that accurate?
Michigan is much closer to home and it was probably much easier to give his recruitment much more resources than we were able to.
Not to mention, Worlds has been a huge staff focus and time had a huge premium.

! But I think most believe he has the frame to be a 174/184 in college.The only saving grace is that between Henckel, Sealy and James, they have a bit of a talent crunch around his weight. Miller is obviously talented enough for that not to matter but much like Bo isn’t a great fit for us, Miller doesn’t seem like a natural fit for PSU. I think it comes down to how badly Melvin and Bo want to go to the same place.
Well fortunately for us the Penn State guys on this board have indicated that they think there’s a good chance Miller ends up at a different school than Bo. Hopefully that rings true.

Flo just announced it will be Merrill vs Mocco at WNO. I'm guessing Dreshaun pulled out because of football
Any idea whether Melvin will take an OV here? The popular opinion is OSU and PSU are window dressing in a two horse race of Neb and VT. The optimist in me says Bo announces his decision independently and Melvin finishes out his recruitment but with seemingly no OV to either OSU or PSU made public, my optimism is fading.
...the Bassett crew were all here during the Tulsa high/ jr. high match whose name I do not know earlier this year(last year?)....the whole McCord (?) team, which also included Jax, was here at the time.........they are all very familiar with the Cowboys' players, coaches, and facilities. Someone will know the dates and title of the event.....plus they are always around at least Dee and other wrestlers when they wrestled wherever......best to all.................rs
There will never be an AWA kid that goes to oSu. Ever. Ben hates us and manipulated this whole effing thing with Kellen. I absolutely love the Wolbert family and will cheer for Kellen until my last breath but I am beyond pissed. This is more of a blow to us than I think you all realize.
I’ve always felt that our fans’ perception of Ben’s hatred towards OSU is incredibly exaggerated. Look, we had a massive logjam at these weights and were bound to lose someone good. I don’t know what you mean by manipulated, but there’s a very plausible scenario where a kid consults his former coach for advice about going to a school where there’s no clear pathway for him, and the coach recommends he explores his options.
Tech probably gave their dad a job. We have plenty of young studs coming in at the lower weights. Honestly don’t think Taylor or Cael pushed hard for Bo and his drama (NIL demands).
