Odeluga and Grant out the whole game? I wasn’t really much talking about the defense as much as the offense? Up 28-7 in the 3rd and they score no more points after that?
Carmel was up 28-7 at the end of the third. One of the announcers, Cesar Sanchez, said that the offense had been "electric" to that point. (The announcers, by the way, were very good.) DLS then scored on each of their following two possessions, chewing up the clock and keeping Carmel's offense off the field. Carmel's defense committed a few penalties that helped extend Meteor drives. When the offense did get the ball, they went three and out, lost a fumble, lost another fumble, and took a knee to end the game.
