I think he also ran a double slot/triple option (GA Tech) type offense at DSU. I'm sure that wouldn't show up on a large scale in his MSU offense, but I would bet it shows up as a wrinkle.

I'm sure we would be a spread, run oriented offense.

when he won the NC at Delta State (Hudspeth was his offensive coordinator), and I'm pretty sure he's had tremendous offenses while head coach at Mississippi Gulf Coast JC.

I think Hud and Freeze are both better coaches than Fedora. I can't figure out why Fedora is getting mentioned for every coaching job in the country.

Will Hall set 16 offensive records while under Hudspeth'stutelage. Hall won the DII version of the Heisman (the Harlan Hill Trophey). They don't give those out unless you put up some impressive passing numbers as a QB. So this makes me think it's not all about option and running the ball.<div>

<div>Remember that Freeze had been the OC at ASU for two years before being named the HC. But interestingly enough ASU seemed to have stunk before Freeze was named HC and actually beat ULL the previous two seasons.</div>
