That's what Paul on BDJ said. That's a huge blow. I was really looking forward to getting him back. Henderson MUST step up now and play out of his mind.

Color me unconcerned. I've been hearing for years about how great Green is, but I just haven't seen it on the field. What game in his career has Marcus been a game changer in? I just don't see the big drop off between him and Henderson.

Don't remember his stats, but that was a big game. He was our 2nd leading receiver last year behind Bumphis. May have the best hands on our team.

No, not all big and swole up. But the best pass receiving TE I've ever seen at State. Not that that says much. Just sayin.

Dude was awesome even under Croom, then quickly got hurt. Now hurt again. Like David Fair, guess this enormous talent wasn't meant to be.

Any chance of a Medical Redshirt? How many quarters has he played in so far this season?
Since Green hasalready taken a traditional redshirt,I think he would have to exhaust his 5 years of athletics before he can apply for a 6th year. I could be wrong.

Unless the staff can go back and find documentation to show that he qualified for a medical redshirt the first time. Probably not too likely in either case because if either player qualified for a medical redshirt the first time, they would have probably been treated as a medical redshirt at the time. Green will still be eligible to play as a redshirt SR next season though.

"Green finishes the season with six catches for 72 yards. The Scooba, Miss., native missed most of the 2008 season with a hip injury. A medical redshirt is a possibility and MSU will look at that option as he approaches the end of his eligibility, Mullen said."

wasn't it Green that dropped the jump pass that looked like a eefus pitch in the Auburn game?
It wasn't his fault. It was a terrible pass by Relf.
