Can we wait till we see it on the basketball floor before crowning the Mountaineers national champs. We've waited more than a century, if you don't count the 1942 NIT title, for it. If WVU can't win the Vegas event, with its modest field, then it would be premature.

But I put my trust in Huggins. If these guys buy into his demands, anything is possible.

But national title? Oh, God, I hope so, so I can lie in peace at Cuyahoga Falls' Northlawn Memorial Gardens beneath the grave marker with "WV" beneath my name.

Take me back to the Sweet 16 and I'll be happy. With Huggins if we make it that far we always have a chance to to go all the way.
