yeah all those coaches just never gave those guys chances despite being so awesome in practice

We wouldn't be after Bolden if the staff thought Humphries was in position to play a lot next year. We already have a lot of frontcourt players. It wouldn't make sense to add more unless some of the guys on the roster aren't where they need to be.That is a little harsh. Trust him for what? He came here a 17 year old. I was surprised by his spurts of production in games. Firm believer that Ulis deserves credit for that. Cal wants Bolden for what Bolden might bring to the team. Not for any distrust in Humphries.
Briscoe was a guaranteed starter because of who ended up leaving, bad example. Plus, Ulis had proven himself to at least be ready for major minutes at that point.Yes because Cal only wants 1 good player st each position. So the recruitment of Bolden means we have no other centers, just like Briscoe last year meant Cal didn't trust Ulis.
You can find every few years guys who went from inconsistent minutes one year to significant minutes the next. Similarly guys who were not 5 star recruits who became contributors.
Estil, Daniels, Fitch, Mohammad, Magloire, Miller, Epps, Harrelson, WCS, Liggins, Willis.
Practise is not game and you make a good point.

Humphries hasn't proven he's good yet. The way you're talking you seem to think it's likely he starts. That's not reasonable with the talent we'll potentially have.
Next year is potentially his year with everyone probably leaving.
