Hunter hines an easy out once again. Opposing team put on the shift and he hit right into it. The scouting report on him is obviously out there and available to everybody. You have to sit him until he can prove he can overcome that.
This 17’ing left field home run haven is a joke with aluminum bats. And we have hit a couple there, too. Difference being, we hit solo shots and everybody else hits multi-run bombs.

We might have lower our expectations. This is the age of NIL and we have Lemonis as coach with his recruits. Should we really expect to beat the likes of Troy, Southern Miss, Arizona and Okie State?
Yes I expect to win against teams with a pulse. I expect to be competitive “all” games we play. I expect our team to be well coached at the beginning of the season. I expect for our team to be competing for a run to Omaha.
I feel like to this point in this season and the last two seasons we have not gotten anywhere near those expectations. And please don’t give me that crud that NIL we aren’t able to get players. Do you really believe Troy and USM spend more NIL than we do. I don’t think so!
