Kendall is out.
Something must be happening behind closed doors.
I’m hoping Kyler is coming back and it’s not Hurts.
Or could be Austin thinks he can get on the field earlier somewhere else. We’ll see.

If Kendal is out, either Hurts is coming or Kyler is staying. Otherwise Kendal would at least have a chance at starting. My money is on Hurts. We would have a QB in the mold of a Tebow or Vince Young who both won NCs.

With the success of transfer QB's at OU lately why would he go anywhere else? I too think he is coming. Could be wrong but something in my gut says he is.

Kyler is not returning, I dont think its Hurts, he looks to be heading down to Miami. If Kendall leaves that will give OU one scholarship qb during spring football.

It would be unlikely that Hurts wants his last year being spent in a rebuilding program. If it’s your last year, go where you have the best shot to shine!!

Hurts is a far better passer than either Tebow or Young. Go back and look at his stats in his first year as the starter. I think Kiffin was the Ala. OC. He regressed under the next OC. If LR wants him he must think he can light it up through the air. Gil Brandt's recent tweets suggest he thinks or even knows that KM is coming back. So 2019 looks like: Murray/Hurts, Mordecai, Rattler RS.

Hurts is a Miami lock.
Kyler coming back is a nice wish, but likely a pipe dream. Unless that insider news is in house and Austin split after finding out.

Absolutely. With 3 - 5 star receivers coming in and a chance to work with the best offensive mind in football? Are you kidding me?

I wouldn't be surprised if Murray privately informed Kendall that he's coming back for one more season....which meant that there was no place for Kendall on the 2019 roster.

Why would Hurts go these minimal teams? Most are scraping bottom so hard sparks are flying. Seems like none aside from Florida State have any geniuses in the OC seat. I got a feeling this plan was in works when LR saw Tua steal Jalen’s thunder. Otherwise, why would Rattler not already be enrolled and in LR intensive tutoring. He would be certainly in spring practice otherwise. I will take experience over anything for Sooners QB choice in 2019. Can you imagine the poop in Tom Squermin Herman’s drawers?

And that’s the other side of it. Baker benefitted greatly by working with Lincoln for an extra year. Yes Kyler would be risking injury but he would become a better QB with an extra year under Riley.

The guy that was slated to start at Ohio State before the Georgia QB transfer has also entered the transfer derby.

Murray is looking at being a first round pick, why would he come back and risk injury, esp when the NFL coach that has the first pick stated he would take him first over all. Hurts looks like he is more interested in going somewhere he know knows the system. He is visiting Maryland, where his former OC is head coach, and Miami where they just hired his QB coach as the OC. Kendall has 2 years left to play, he know Rattler is the guy in 2020, so he is probably seeing who is interested in him being the guy for 2 years.
