I’ve seen them projected at a 1 seed in a couple of them. Finish with 1 loss and win the big ten tournament and a 1 seed is ours. Have you seen anything to suggest that won’t be a reality?

I realize these are just darts thrown at a board at this point, but I'll be very surprised if UCF is a 7 seed. They pulled out wins over Cincinnati and lowly K-State, but UCF won't hold up against the upper half of the Big 12, in my opinion.

Not yet but 3 top 15 games, 2 top 5 teams in the next month.. At iowa, at USC, at UCLA.. Not saying it can't be done and that I don't think they can but that's a tough stretch

Hell, if NU only lost one game between now and Selection Sunday, they would be the #1 overall seed.

I don't really see Nebraska - or any other team in the country - making quite that good of a run. Not in the top conferences.

We have too many weapons. Yeah we will meet someone that beats us up inside, but nobody’s stopping our shooters.

There are some MONSTER games remaining for the top teams in the B1G. While already having defeated Illinois and MSU puts NU in rarified air at the moment, remaining games with Michigan, Purdue, and Illinois will go a long way in determining whether NU can actually win the league and whether they can maintain a Top 2 or 3 NCAA seed. All of those teams play each other, as well, so all of the contenders will have scars.

And we can't overlook two games with Iowa and the two roadies in Los Angeles. No gimmees there. Of course, NU needs to keep their road momentum going with the next two road games against NW and MN, then avoid a trap at Rutgers.

If NU can continue to play this well, and lose no more than 4, maybe 5 games, a 1 or 2 seed is likely. I can see stumbles here and there; but given what we have seen so far - any worse than 14-6 in the league would be disappointing.

Sorry to have jinxed them....

Come on. A one point win over K-State leads you to believe we are unbeatable? They are playing well, but they are going to lose more than one game.

14-6 would have us finishing 8-6 moving forward... that would be terrible.

I could see them ending with 5-6 losses after thr conference tourney. Top 4 seed in a regional would be a hell of an accomplishment

Yeah pick the single one point win and ignore all of the blowout wins. What a joke you are.

Oh good grief. I assume an adult who reacts like a 3rd grader. I wasn't the one that predicted one loss. The last ten national champions averaged five loses.

Well, we beat lowly K State by one, so where does that put us? just saying. :)

Agree, we have to be realistic. If we end the year with 3 or 4 losses, we should be ecstatic. Personally, I think that we end up with 4 or 5 losses. Purdue, Michigan and then 2 or 3 losses to Illinois, one of the Iowa games and then one that we shouldn't. I would love to eat crow and be wrong.

We've won quite a few toss-up games late, it is just inevitable that those go the other way in the future. We'll probably have one stinker, and a couple of close losses. Four losses would still be an amazing season. I would actually rather be a slightly lower seed, getting over the hump and winning an tournament game is going to be a lot of pressure for these guys. They rely so much on defending the 3 and making contested 3s that things could snowball quick with some shot making and missing.

We need to secure a spot in the big10 title and ncaa tournament. We've had good fortune and not many injuries.

Good grief to you. Multiple big wins and all you can say is oh they beat K State by 1
