UConn kicked the crap out of St John’s.

St John’s went 0-24 from the field over the final 17 and a half minutes of the game.

Win at least 2 of the next 3 and we should have a good seeding in conference tournament and ncaa tournament. Could care less about the conference tournament, we just need to get the first conference tournament which was the goal before the season.

It’s why I no longer look at the game thread (BB or FB) while the game is being played. I prefer to watch the entire game before deciding whether we played good, bad, or average. Huskers were above average again tonight, which will win most games in the B1G against teams that are about 8-15 in the conference standings.

I didn't watch and we won. Hip Hip.. Ill let everyone know when I decide to watch again. Then, everyone can put money on the other team. 👍
Well…they were above average the last 12 minutes. Prior to that it was hit and miss. NU hurt themselves by missing FTs; and Maryland landed a few desperate 3’s that kept the game close.

What’s disappointing is they easily could be 28-0 right now. The flip side is the games they’ve lost were to good teams and all were affected by horseshxx officiating. Sigh. I want soooo much.

Disappointing? Sigh indeed. If I counted right we have 8 wins by fewer than 10 points. There were plenty of games that could've easily gone the other way. 24-4 is fantastic.

Yep. Best regular season in NU hoops history.

I hope we earn consideration for some actual non-con tourneys next year because of it.

would like to see us get some real needle movers on that early season schedule next year (and beyond)

SOS is the one metric holding us back (relatively speaking - I’m ecstatic with our results) at the moment

Mixed feelings. They are not playing well at times, and still winning the games they should win. Shows they are a pretty good team. However, if they go into the tourney as a four seed still in a funk, we might not finally get a win.
