Yesterday was a giant success for sooooo many reasons.

1. Blades was the flip we needed after being burned by so many other late flips. It felt nice. Lesson learned is keep trying until the end.
2. Calvin flipped to WSU but this one feels like we dodged a bullet. Lesson learned is that if it talks like a flip and walks like a flip...its a flip. His actions for months have indicated how unstable his pledge to us was. Better to happen now than another case like Grimm from last year.
3. People say we missed on our stated number of WR targets...maybe....or maybe we should consider the big TEs we got. They can catch the ball too...and are providing the height some say we are lacking from the WR group.
4. The D-Line was the greatest part of signing day. We kept Thomas which was important but most of all we signed 3 DTs (have we ever gotten that many in one class?)....and big ones too. Between the 2016 and 2017s class of OL and the dline studs we took this year...not to mention that we have one for next year already.....the lines look solid.
5. We picked up Blades as a DB but that spot looks thin....so be it....you cant get everything you want each year. We have solid depth there now...so an emphasis on DBs for the next cycle should make up for any holes.
6. It is a great class that some are calling small....ok..it is. It looks like the quality will be there and we will need to rely on the walk-ons for depth....This is Nebraska...we have been there before.
7. Big winners were our new DB coach and WR coach....but the king yesterday was Parella. Unsung hero.....Cav. The OL recruits are good and were solidly "N" for a long time.
8. I am excited for D Bullocks coming on board as well as coach Diaco.....The next recruiting cycle looks like it could be even better.

Great stuff, PAOK. I agree with every point, but on #8, it doesn't sound like Bullocks is a done deal, just the first interview.
