Lets GO HUSKERS. Last time I was able to come to a game was the Penn State game a couple years ago. Ya won that one, lets do it again. I do hope that PSU shoosts as bad during the game as they are in warm ups.

His future is very bright. Along with Roby, a healthy Morrow and Watson.

Not even counting a healed Gill. A new 5 start in Copeland. A strong role player and hustler in Jacobson. A pretty good 3 pt shooter in McVeigh.

For people who see the negative in this team I feel bad for you.

Reduce the turnovers and play better defense are musts for his team to improve.

No mention of McVeigh's half court shot? Pretty amazing... Looks like he has done it a few times

It is a pretty dead crowd. Valentine's Day maybe? Hangover from losing in OT to Wisconsin. Definitely quiet crowd.

It has been very quiet in here. Even the students are pretty quiet. However it has been a pretty boring game other than McVeighs half court shot.

Not directed at Miles because it's a fad throughout college basketball, but I'm not a fan of pulling guys out who are playing well so they can get an extra minute or two rest before the media timeouts. You're just doing the other team a big favor, and TV timeouts are plenty long enough for a guy to towel off and catch his breath.

I think you'll see Tai get more and more rest since he's got more minutes than anyone else in the league. Would be nice to have some fresh legs down the stretch.

It's worked out fine tonight but often I think it's a momentum killer. I would rather just step on the other team's throat and rest my best guys at the end with a 20 point lead.

Tonight they should get to do that anyway, so maybe he'll leave Tai out and let Watson run the show. Would like to see Tshimanga back out there, though.

That doesn't look good damn it.

Roby turned it pretty good there.

I was never a great player, but loved to play. Had to stop playing competitively as I kept on having injuries like that. Step on a foot. Roll and ankle. Plant my leg. Dislocate my knee. I miss it, but don't want to be a cripple as I age.

Yea, well I had plenty of turned or sprained angle playing basketball from grade school to the high school team some more severe than the others...

Part of the game running and jumping at full speed and coming down...

Hope Roby isn't to severe for Saturday game in Columbus.

We used to play until our ankles hurt. I was living in Indiana at the time. Basketball in Indiana is like football is in Nebraska.

I was talking with another guy on why the subs serent in with 3 minutes to go. No reason for the top players to still be in there. Hope Roby isnt hurt too bad.

Roby and some of the other freshmen need all the minutes they can get. You can't worry about turning an ankle. Could happen in practice or heck even shoot around. Just bad luck. My only comment on substituting was that it would have been nice to get a few of the walk ons a little more time, but they gave up some points when they finally did get in.

Havent watched every game this year. Is this one the most complete games they have played as a team? The second half, PSU cooled off and they werent given as may open looks. Inside game was nice to see and it seemed everyone contributed, not just a couple guys. If Webster could use his left hand he would be extremely difficult to defend. I dont recall seeing this many flushes in a Husker game for a long time - much more agressive to the rim.

We had a size advantage with Tshiminga and Roby is a matchup problem for some teams. I thought Jordy should have played more in the last game. We played much better last night it looked to me when he was on the floor and I thought the same last week. It would be interesting to see what the point differential was in both of these games with him on the floor versus not. Miles etal have really done a nice job bringing him along. He was REALLY green to start the season. ALL of the freshmen and Evan Taylor just keep getting better game by game.
