All of the those Saturdays where Iowa rolled and Nebraska lost, the worm finally turned for once. Enjoy it this weekend.
Obviously you don't know your history on either team. Since Iowa entered the BIG 10 they are 375 - 320 - 12 which equates to a 53% winning percentage....
Since 1980 266 - 170 - 3 61%
Since 1990 189 - 130 - 2. 59%
Since 2000 127 - 77 62%
Since 2010 46 - 32. 59%
In fairness, the following is Nebraska's football record since 1953 (same starting point as above for Iowa).
Since 1953. 547-201-7. 73%
Since 1980. 348-107-1. 76%
Since 1990. 245-87-1. 74%
Since 2000. 137-71. 66%
Since 2010. 53-27. 66%
As for head-to-head competition, of course Nebraska leads that series too.... Overall since 1891 29-14-3
Since 1953 8-3
Since 1980 7-3
Since 1990. 5-2
Since 2000. 4-2
Since 2010. 3-2
So, I'm confused about your comment that the worm has finally turned..... You imply that Iowa football is such the juggernaut, especially against Nebraska.... FYI: winning a few gams doesn't make a trend.... When your team wins a lot consistently over time (1953 on) ITS CALLED TRADITION..... ..... Which your Hawks have clearly not produced anything significant .... Well as your handle brags.... 7 rose bowls ..... Yippy ...... Maybe be I can be arrogant too and have the handle huskers5X National championships.... Also go troll on some other rivals site to make yourself feel better... Just my 2 cents
