If so, taking the under. if we do get any yards against michigan state, they will be on special teams. and i don't see it happening against them. their defense does not seem as dominating as in the past but i think we are too vanilla. gonna be a struggle.

I don't think Michigan State's defense hasn't been as good this year as it has been in the past. I don't know if that's partly a function of Narduzzi leaving, graduation or both.

Michigan's defense though has been pretty strong so far.

Rutgers will have over 150 yards against Michigan State but probably will still lose by at least 3 touchdowns.

Don't know about yards, but the final scores against MSU and OSU will be whatever MSU and OSU what it to be. If they view the games as a practice session, maybe we keep the losses to 21 to 28 points, but if they want to make a statement for playoff voters, we will likely lose by 50+.

Right now PSU's D is ranked #15, MSU's #77 (RU is #74 btw). RU had 300 yards vs PSU. May not be fair because they haven't played the same teams but to even think RU will have 150 yards let alone post it is just plain stupid.

I think the poster's screen name says it all.

Early rankings of offenses and defenses don't mean too much. You have to look at who these teams have played. An okay defense playing vs 3 terrible offenses will look better than the best defense playing against 3 terrific offenses.

I don't know where that puts Sparty (Oregon plus Air Force plus two cupcakes), but you get my general drift.
