Hypothetical: Rebel reaction?

Should the Hilltoppers win tonight, how will the Rebel faithful (at the game) react? Some of you may remember playing UNC in the late '80s or early '90s...they had to beat us twice to make the CWS...and they did it. The MSU crowd, though disappointed, gave the Tarheels a 10-minute standing ovation, bringing their head coach and players to tears. I remember the coach speaking to the crowd saying something akin to: "You people really understand baseball, and we've never experienced anything in an opposing stadium like this before...yadda yadda yadda."

Anyway, Kellup made the "Tip your hat" comment last night, which I found surprising; I'm glad he said that. Should the Rebels go down tonight, how do you think the crowd will react? Will they throw bottles, in typical fashion, or will they applaud the Hilltoppers' efforts?

Thoughts?

I can tell you that regardless of the outcome tonight. Even if we lose 20-0, the fans that are there will give our team the typical Hotty Toddys, and that'll be it.

During last night's game, when we were blowing the lead, I really didn't hear many, if any boos, and after the game, there were a handful of Hotty Toddys for the team despite the loss.

Cohen is out busting his *** to get to vegas while both of the other programs in this state are doing what our polk-forsaken program should be doing right now. Get some talent in here!

we won the first game and then lost the second one.

I know that's not your point, but just noting.

it doesn't really matter to me. they can throw bottles and i will say "go figure" or they can clap for their guys for getting this far and i will say the same.
