We're down 2 with 5 seconds to go and we're on the LSU 3.

Do you go for the FG or the TD? Dan's backed his kickers during press conferences etc, but when it's crunch time do you think he'd put the game on their backs or on Dak?

I'm trotting out a FG from anywhere inside the 25. Even if he makes 1/3 of his 40 yard attempts, that's probably a higher probability than converting a 25 yard TD pass against their DBs.

My head says FG, but my MSU experience says take the chances with Dak.

I'm sending out the FG unit, especially if he's made a few earlier in the game. I'm not about to try a td against their defense in that situation.

The fact that we even have to think about what we would do in this scenario...

pisses me off.

It is inexcusable...

on the other hand. If we do kick a FG to win the game, that kicker will have all transgressions forgiven and I expect Ozark and Sadddawg to have him taken care of for LIFE.

No way would I put a game of this importance in the hands (OK the foot) of any of our kickers. I think the pressure would absolutely screw up their mind, and the kick. Our chances of making the kick would be way less than 50%, However don't try Dak right up the middle. LSU would be stacking the box.

You try the FG and if he misses it you burn his scholarship in front of him on the sideline and make him find his own way home.

You bring Dak out and go for the FG. He has feet, he runs with them. I am sure he can swing one in front of his body.
Assuming he can perform that basic motion with his leg, he has the best chance to make it.

You guys all have it wrong. Against Les Miles, the ultimate win is a fake FG, with Dak as the holder, run it in as time expires. Duh!

Can Dak kick field goals?**

The only way I see us kicking a field goal in the situation is if Sobiesk has already made one in the game and is either 1-1 or 1-2 on the night (or better).

This hurts me we even have a situation like this. Overall I'd see how the extra points looked and any success with field goals. If bad just go with dak. He is our stud. Ride him.

From the 3 yard line 100% kick the FG

I don't care if our kickers have missed the previous 20 FGs. Kick the FG for the win. If he makes it, there will be a movie about him some day. If he misses it, well we know for sure to never attempt a FG for the rest of the year. Got to trust our players to make the plays required. Everyone of them.
