Hypothetically....sweep Ole Miss = we're ranked?

Before everybody says "it ain't gonna happen", etc... That's not the question. If by some chance it happens, will we be ranked? We would be 11-10 in conference, and winners of 7 straight. Not to mention back to back sweeps, 1 over a top 20 team. I say yes.

*I understand if none of you dipshits that were predicting what needed to happen next year for Cohen to keep his job want to even consider the thought, but try to answer honestly.

We'd still need to win each of the last 3 series, but if we did, our RPI would probably get into the teens.

And as far as hosting- I think we're going to need to finish in the top four in the SEC to do that, and top five to be realistically talking about it.

If we get hot it could happen- but getting hot is the real trick.

If we were to win the series against Ole Miss, and UK, sweep Bama on the road, and win one against UF on the road- that might be good enough to host. That would put us at 16 SEC wins.

Also have to win the rest of our non-conference games against Valley and Central Arkansas. We can't slip up against UCA.

Clemson and Arizona have 16/17 losses and are ranked in the top 30. IF (big if) we were to sweep ole miss, we would have a 5-7 record against top 25 teams, on top of being over .500 in the SEC, and would have a 7 game winning streak. We would be in for sure.

That being said, I don't think we sweep. I'd put the over/under on games won this weekend at 1.5. Just as likely we win the series as lose it.
