Both of those games were their for the taking.

I believe we're good enough to be a 10 win team...if Boom comes back. He just makes the offense so much more potent and it keeps that depth at tailback.

Offense is a 10+ win offense with or without Boom. Obviously better with him.

Talk about a dichotomy between the first game of the season, where we inexplicably collapsed against a decent USM team, and the season ending takedown of a highly regarded rival on the road as a 27 point dog. UL knows how we felt after that 2nd half collapse in the opener.

I don't believe that's true. Johnson had a good game, but it was the constant run threat that opened that up. Snell can't play every snap. And Boom provided most of our big play ability. We are not going to average 240 yards rushing with him gone. Maybe Rose will be a good back, but I don't think we appreciated how really really special Boom was.
