LSU would have had the ball with maybe 30 seconds at worst.
I actually think NOT taking a shot tells our offense that Croom has no confidence in them. Think about LSU's 4th down that they punched in for their last TD- Croom would have kicked a FG- guaranteed. Now LSU has a 7 point lead instead of a 3.

Why the %!+* not? You can't win if you don't score. We were basically calling our shot the last 5 minutes of the half. You have 3 timeouts... use the %$@#$*$ get it down far enough to try a fg. As it stands, they get the ball to start the half with a chance to go up by 10 or 14 to start the half. Talk about a momentum killer

...how is the offense going to earn the right to be agressive if you don't give them the opportunity to be aggressive? ****, anything can happen. Lee could throw it down field, have it intercepted, have the DB fumble it, and we run it in for a score. Nothing happens if you just lay down.

to put up a respectable amount of points. All they are now is a team that has put up a grand total of 13 points in conference play. You honestly think we score when LSU knows we are passing every down? I don't.

2. We had no timeouts, or
3. We had the ball inside our own 20.
None of those things were true. In fact, we were almost in LSU territory with a full minute left, tons of momentum and THREE TIMEOUTS. Which we promptly took with us to wipe our asses with in the locker room. Croom was a gutless sack of crap. What makes it worse is that LSU gets the ball to start the half. INCREDIBLE.
