I am glad these games don't bother me as much now...

took me a few years to realize it is just a game, but when I finally realized it I have been about ten thousand times happier during football season. Live and learn. We lose and it is coach's fault, we win and our players are great. IF we had just done this or IF we had just done that or IF the referee had done this or done that. It really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. It most definitely is fun to watch but when it is over it is over for me.</p>

I will continue to buy season tix and stand up to cheer and such, but I have become numb to getting nervous or getting too emotional. I never once last night got pissed, because the last 10 years have made me realistic. I remember the Memphis basketball game in The NCAA's 2-3 years ago and LSU football game last year. I attended both, and both games I left drained and mentally had nothing left. My emotions don't seem to get too excited anymore because I know it is only heartache that is ahead. I guess when we get over the hump and start winning these type games I may change. Again, I am doing my part as a fan, but refuse to surrender the emotional aspect any longer.
