I am impressed with all the work that went into the April Fools joke, it really was detailed and clever. Do we get a list of people published who fell for it?

Thread Jack: curious to know how many different message boards everyone else reads? For me personally I've stuck to SPS for the better part of 3 years. Mainly because the obvious being free but also how easy it was to read then(during yuku). For me I don't read enough to read other boards too.
Only this one. Why waste time with the others when I can get the scoop, tits and asses here?

Yep. I love how they are all about stopping some rebel trolls when coach is probably the reason for why most of them were over here in the first place because of his troll ***.
I ike this site a lot, but I signed up over there too. Nothing wrong with another source of info/topics to discuss. You imply that a choice between one site or the other has to be made ("migrate"). Even DS has signed up and made at least one post over there...
I think some of you give yourselves too little credit. You will still be fodder for the Rebel trolls whether coach stays or not. It's now commonplace on this board to have Rebels dive in on topics trolling around to stir **** up. And they are given free reign to do so. Which if that is what the board is about fine, its actually surprising when I read a topic where there isnt a Rebel trolling. In defense of them though, its so damn easy to get some of you cranked up its easy to see why they do it. At least when you get cranked up its easy to see who the idiots are.
My prediction is if he stays gone it will become somewhat less interesting and borderline boring for you. Really sit and think about how often you check the board just to see if he, or one of his people as he apparently has, has responded to one of your posts.....I don't care one way or the other but just think about it. I guess we will see what happens.

Here and elsewhere....go find a gif you like. Copy the URL, mash the icon for inserting a picture, paste the URL in the box, and BOOM...
Hint...elsewhere, after you mash the insert image icon, there might be a tabs in that popup that indicate if you want to paste a URL or upload the image to the site. Choose to paste in the URL.
I think the term "trolling" has become diluted. Yes, Rebel posters do troll Bulldog posters here. Yes, Bulldog posters also troll Rebel posters here. C34 has been known for his Ole Miss trolling over the years.
I actually think the mods try to do a good job of weeding out the actual trolling posts. Just because an Ole Miss poster posts on this board does not mean that the post is nothing but "trolling", though there are many people who actually think that. The problem is that there are too many people who hate the other side so much that any post by someone from the other side is immediately met with hostility, and the thread dissolves into a pissing match instead of good, opposing viewpoint based conversation. That works both ways, so don't think I'm just calling out our own fans for it.

also too many are so damn far to one side that they can't see the humor that is provided by some of the Ole Miss posters. If any of you are being a dubmass, I welcome OM, LSU, UF, or whoever fans to come on over and make you look more like a dubmass. It is more fun that way.

I started that thread about Mullen yesterday in an effort to see if the board had changed just in one day without C34 and some of those guys. Posting the thread just two days ago would have been met with a number of posts fully defending everything and anything Mullen from last season. And then the conversation would have been a back and forth with those posters and the rest of us. As of now, the thread is still going and people are not totally bashing Mullen. They are just responding to the post about what they think needs to be seen from the football team. I'm not bored at all.

Way to throw them a bone. I just perused the other site, and it honestly looks like it was set up by a bunch of guys that are afraid to deal with Rebel banter on their M...and want to cuss a lot. And can't take a joke. And want to be a charter member of something new. Wooohooo!

And let me reiterate that I don't think his board takes away from this one...I really see that board becoming a C34 blog of fairy tales with guys that had relations with his ex getting punched in their office while C34's posse backed him up. I read all of the State boards but...
never post on Genespage and usually read it to get limited free recruiting information. I post on nafoom, here, and I will also post on elitedawgs...The more MSU information I can get the better....
