I am putting this out there: Packers lose today....

The Pack has won 18 straight. Only 1 NFL team has ever won more than 18 straight games, the '03-'04 Patriots. Some really great teams have gotten to 18 straight, but then have lost....The '72-'73 Dolphins (lost second game of season after going 17-0 the year before), the 89-90 Niners, and of course the 2007 Patriots who went undefeated in the regular season only to lose the Super Bowl and fail to get to 19 straight wins.

Green Bay does not belong in the same conversation as those teams. Granted, most of those teams lost on the road and/or in the playoffs, but I still think NFL history bites the Pack today.

Or, maybe not.

But I'm not betting against the Pack today. There is just something about that 19th win that makes things very difficult.

Okay, so, the Pack is pretty good.

Really, the only reason I put this out there is that its an NFL record that no one talks about. Everyone talks about trying to have a perfect season, but no one ever talks about the alltime winning streaks. No one even mentioned it back when the Patriots won 21 straight, and you don't hear anything about the Pack moving into second place all time.

When the Patriots got the 21 straight record, there was a lot of talk about it on all the football programs.

WHAT? Why don't they deserve to be mentioned with those teams? That is terrible reasoning..

The Pack has kind of come from nowhere to start this winning streak. They didn't even win their division last year. All those other teams were franchises that were well into their prime. The Dolphins had just lost a Super Bowl, while the Niners and Patriots had already won multiple Super Bowls.

Plus, the Pack is soft.

Their streak started on the year they won the super bowl and they're keeping up with it. How is that coming out of no where? You're also calling Clay Matthews, Aaron Rodgers, Jermichael Finley, Charles Woodson and so many other elite players soft? What team have you been watching? You don't win 18 games in a row and be considered soft. That is the dumbest thing I've heard on here in a while, and that says a lot. Congratulations.
