Post of the year... factor in the 5 more points pre Parkinsons, and we lose by double digits

But how many non-State supporters and college basketball experts rank Stans as a top-tier coach? Do other coaches respect his coaching ability? Are his teams more likely to over perform or are they more known for under performing?

He wins with talent more than coaching ability and the SEC is not even known for its basketball prowess. How often does he play stall-ball and lose leads? He's not an awful coach. He just doesn't appear to be all that good. He's not even Dale Brown good (former LSU coach) and Dale Brown has a couple of final fours and several SEC championships but is hardly remembered as a good college basketball coach. Like Dale Brown, Stans can recruit but I'm not sure he'll be remembered as an Xs and Os guy. My guess is that his legacy might be the "circus" like atmosphere of the last few years. I'd be glad to be proven wrong because basketball was once my favorite sport and as a student I never missed a game (like Belushi it was the best 6 years of my life).

Stans almost blew it by slowing down the train in the first half. When you have the horses, like we do, you have to let them run and gun....

They are only four games into the season with a win over a top 20 team. Let's at lest wait until we are half way through the SEC season before becoming a clone coach34. If his team doesn't go any where this year then he needs to be gone but damn it is only the fourth game. Let up just a little and be happy. Too many of you are sounding like the Miss Bears.

I'll try to be patient and hope to be pleasantly surprised this season. Everyone on here ultimately wants the same thing--a successful season.

Hell this has to be his greatest season ever or I think he is out and he needs to be.
