I had a muppet... oops, I mean rebelacquaintance tell me after the egg bowl that we "saved up our best plays for the egg bowl because it was the only game that we cared about". I laughed so hard I almost choked on the drink in my mouth. Anyone with a brain and saw that game knew EVERY play we were going to run in the ENTIRE second half, and do you know why? Because ALL WE RAN THE WHOLE GAME WAS THE BASIC QB OPTION PLAY, and iftheircoaching staff had any sense at all, they would have known how to stop it after, oh say the 20th time we ran it. We did nothing tricky all game and they knew what was coming, OM was simplyout-coached (if you can even consider calling the same running play all day long coaching) and out-executed. That simple. All this guy talked about was how we "saved Relf" for that one game.Apparently this dumb *** was too oblivious to know that Relf played in every game that Mullen allowed him to play in because he was suspended for half the season, and when he was in the game, every other team we played knew exactly what was coming and how to stop it. That should tell you about the coaching up in Oxford.<div>
</div><div>We did nothing tricky in the egg bowl and held nothing back all year. All we did was run it up their *** all day long til they cried uncle, and if they don't agree, then they obviously never even watched the game.</div><div>
</div><div>Restassured, when we beat them again next year, it will be a new slew of excuses. It is simply not in their DNA to every admit they were outdone in any way, athletically or academically. </div>
