Oh how we've heard of the big wigs coming to town for the Horns. How epic and historic this is. Look Bears, this is all about Texas, not your grandiose idea of being prevalent. Enjoy the show and masquerade of how big you claim to be. Carry on......

As of one hour ago, there were still tickets available through OM's ticket office...Let that sink in. Not nearly as much interest as they'd apparently like to believe....

I understand the OM hate just as much as any other state fan but if you can't understand why they are so excited for this weekend then you probably don't understand OM. This game is at 8:15pm. They will have an entire day to drink themselves into Bolivian while looking at way over dressed, hot *** everywhere. They finally get to see one good team on their field this year. Texas is nationally ranked so there will be plenty of TV coverage and they know that their pride and joy, the Grove, will be the center of attention. They are expected to lose but can show they still belong in the conversation for greatest losing atmospheres. And to top it off the state of Texas has a ton of super rich people. They will have the chance to rub elbows with the people they think they belong with.

So give them a break why don't ya?

You pretty much nailed it.

Right, because this board wouldn't be excited about the exact same situation. That LSU game campus atmosphere in Mullen's first year was barely discussed here, right? Just those silly Bears drinking fruity beer and talking about scarves and their servants.

Well I was trying to be funny of course but I would think that this has to be the biggest thing to happen for your fans in at least two seasons. The fact that it is a late game will make it nuts. I 17ing hate early games.

I agree 100%....But.....

if there is one fanbase I know, it's the Bears, grew up in this rivalry. I totally see why they are excited for this game, if I were a bear fan I would be too. They have been a dumpster fire for years, you are 2-0, and a formidable opponent is coming to town. I just get a kick out the kool aid drinkers claiming all is right with the world. Do I think UT will win, yes. Do I think the Bears will play em close, yes. Do I think UT is a solid SEC caliber opponent, no. I'm just enjoying the parade. (i.e. Victory Reds response)Hey Vic red, "Really jarred something loose down there Tiger"?

Do all drinkers aspire to live in Bolivia?

I'd guess it will be the best atmosphere since LSU 2009. Everything since Jacksonville State has either been terrible or somewhat muted because of the general shittiness of the program and failing belief in Nutt.

I've had about 15 hours of sleep since Saturday so my response is probably not the best to go off of. My tolerance level right now is at zero.

I just ran into McConaughy, Zellweger, and Owen Wilson at the Corner Grocery. They said it was the best restaurant ever. Also, they loved the charm of the town square. McConaughy said it was waaaayyyy better than Canton's square. Then I saw JR and Bobby at The Library. They are smoking stooges and talking about building condo's in the beautiful Sardis bottoms.

Oh I can't imagine when they see The Grove........I mean just the most beautiful place on earth.

That just floors me. This is the biggest non-conference opponent to play in the state of Mississippi in a long time. Certainly one of the 5 biggest in the last 40 years. And it's not sold out less than 48 hours before game time.

But the Patriarch of what is Ole Miss football says they are expecting 100,000 OUTSIDE the stadium, just cant get people interested in the product on the field................

Even better when we spanked those asses and watched them get herded back on those buses. The next year was even better in their own pasture.
