We've handed Mississippi the keys to the college football "kingdom" in the State of Mississippi for essentially 8 years (jackie's last three years and croom's 5) and what have they done? They've completely dicked around with the cutlcliffe firing crap followed by the shrimp-boat captain fiasco. There has been no in-state pressure on the maron and whit for results.
Until now. They've got a coach now. Yeah, he's a spastic screwball with michelsons who's liable to call a wild goat formation skinny post on 3rd and short, but he's got them believing they are supposed to be on the field with top 5 comp. And he's brought in good assistants who can teach fundamentals. Both of their lines controlled the line of scrimmage yesterday. And that's coaching.
So, thanks, Mississippi for doing nothing with the gift you were given for 8 years while the good ol Mstate football program declined to whatever that is they are putting on the field today.
