I spent a lot of thought on this. I called some friends and ran some scenarios on Madden. Here is my prediction for this year.
QB: sellers will take another step forward and be a legitimate Heisman candidate. Or he may have a sophomore slump.
O line: This is the year "the wall" finally comes to fruition. We have assembled guys who will finally play as a top half SEC squad. Or it will be another year of wondering why we can't have an OL like any average SEC team.
Offense in general: Wit the losses on defense, we will need to outscore opponents. This offense will definitely light up the scoreboard. Or it'll struggle.
Defense: This is a huge question mark. We replace so many starters and contributors. Our portal ranked high, so I see this defense being AT LEAST as good as last years. Playoff worthy, possible final 4 or title game level.
Or we'll take a huge step back after losing all that talent.
Overall record:
With our overpowering Offense and smothering defense, 11 wins is within shot. We should seriously start talking SEC title. Or we could win 4 games. I am definitely confident that we'll end up between 4 and 11 wins this year.
Mark it down. And i will expect kudos and pats on the back for being right. And I will be right. Because i wrote a long winded post.
