Its is year 4 and we can't score a motherfukcing run against Samford's #2 guy. Make fun of me, go on do it. We won a meaningless conference tournament WOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOO what does it mean. NOT ****!!!

What the fukc are you defending. Our offense is atrocious. No, beyond that. I cant even fathom the word in the English vocabulary to describe our offense. After 3 years of recruiting we have the most inept lineup I have ever seen in any level of fukcing organized baseball!!

But hey Cohen has our fukctards playing hard. Yay! We made a regional! Newsflash REGIONALS DONT MEAN ****!!! If you cant make a regional in the SEC then you are inept!

Im saying it right fukcing now. Cohen cannot and will not take us to the next level. He is too incompetent to compete in Omaha and if we make a replacement soon we can get a great baseball mind to take over the talent we have and build towards a championship.

Call me Coach34 if you want I don't give a 17 we will never ever compete for a national championship with John inept Cohen calling the shots and after next year everyone on this fukcing board will see that. Everyone says that we should be a top 10 team next year. I dont see that happening. We will be average at best at the plate and not host a regional *again* but everyone will say hey we made a regional whoopee!

Pull the plug now. Im calling for it. We wont, I know because *we just won the SEC tournament* but we should. If not, fine. Ill still be on the lounge every home game rooting for our guys but knowing in my head that during the current leadership we will never ever compete in Omaha

Don't talk about me. I post on a board. Defend what you saw today from this team. Cohen has had 3 years to recruit hitters. What the hell was today

..if you are posting this nonsense drunk, then I'll give you a pass.

Because in the past I have posted even worse while drunk.

But if you are posting this crap sober, then you're an embarrassment.

Nothing more, nothing less. No point in "defending" anything. It sucked. Turn the page.

Look man, I didn't have a problem with your viewpoints on the bunting, etc... How you expressed it was pretty bad, but for the most part I agreed with you. At this point, you've lost all semblance of logic in 90% of what your posting and are running on pure negative emotion.

So, while we're being illogical: How do you expect our team to have a winning approach on the field, when you've got a losing approach on a message board?

If you get hammered on a Friday night and the best thing you have to do is post on a message board, you're pathetic. Plus, I think you're just using the drunk excuse to try and get people to forgive you for all the stupidity you've spewed today. Once you realized nobody was on board with your dumbass (again), you pull out the drunk card. <div>
</div><div>ETA: I'm sober, married, and have in-laws over tonight...so I have an excuse to be posting</div>

He said we should pitch the sinkerball pitcher. We didn't and gave up 4 home runs. I'm not saying he was right or wrong, but if we don't give up any home runs, we're still playing in the 10th. Stratton has given up 7 of the 17 home runs the whole staff has given up for the season. May not have been a bad theory after all.

And by the end of your beer you will be singing my praises on the game of baseball. I defer to everyone else on football and hoops. But baseball is my game and I know it in and out strategy wise. I was offered to volunteer coach at my HS upon graduation by the head coach(declined) but I know and love this game and cringe when we cost ourselves. I'm walking home 17er because I can and I will be at halfway for the game. Call me out anyone. I'll buy you a beer. Oatmeal porter is my choice tomorrow. In hopes porter hits 3 bombs

What would your strategy now that we are in the losers bracket? Who would you start tomorrow? Plate approach, etc?<div>
</div><div>By the way, if you had taken that volunteer job, I bet that team would be some big inning, no buntin, mother 17ers wouldn't they?</div>

I would have preferred him today yes. But. If Cohen decided to go with Stratton I would have preferred Graveman over that decision. You can't say woodruff Wouk have given up those bombs just like Stratton. That's absurd. I would have preferred woodruff over anyone but Graveman over Stratton. I was pointing out that we had tht option before Chris you illogical 17! I would have preferred Pollorena over Stratton today.

suited for FSU's left hand dominant lineup. I think I would go with Woodruff tomorrow. Then If Samford loses we would have the sinker baller against Samford Sunday morning...but if FSU loses we could throw Pollo, Ross Mitchell, Lindgren, and all of our lefties at them. Then we would have Graveman still for our Sunday evening game against Samford. But that's thinking way ahead. We have options, we just need to beat UAB

Going into today so it doesn't skew the stats, Stratton had given up 4 HRs in 101 innings, Graveman 1 in 86 and Woodruff 0 in 34. Stratton also led the team in HRs given up last year. Maybe pitching him against a team that hits a lot of HRs wasn't such a good idea. </p>

If we can't outscore Birmingham then we're awful. If we win and play Samford then Graveman pitches. If we win and play Seminoles then Woodruff throws. Easy

better to NOT pitch the #13 projected overall pick in the draft? The SEC Pitcher of the Year? Do you not realize that Stratton has pitched more innings than the other two, thus having a better opportunity of giving up more homers? <div>
</div><div>Look, I'm not arguing the starting pitcher thing, because I would have been fine with any of them starting against Samford. But to act like Graveman or Woodruff would have shut that team down is absurd. There's no way for you to prove that, just like there's no way for me to disprove it. BUT, I can say that I doubt we would have faired much better with pitchers not called our Ace and the SEC Pitcher of the Year....against anybody. When you don't score runs, it doesn't matter who we would have pitched. And spare me the bull **** about Graveman could have gotten us to the 10th tied 0-0....that's being a dumbass and reaching way too far to try and argue a point. We may have won today with Graveman or Woodruff, but the way our bats played today...I think we can all agree it wouldn't have mattered who was on the hill. So nobody's point was justified today about pitching. Not when you score 0 runs.</div>

Save the lefties for FSU.Not sure I'd waste Woodruff on UAB though. I think I'd go with Nick Routt. Then Evan Mitchell against Samford and Woodruff in the late Sunday game. I know the argument is you've got to win today to make it to tomorrow, but 0-2 isn't really any different than 1-2 or 2-2 in the regional. If we're going to win it, we're going to have to beat one of FSU's top 2 pitchers on Sunday night. Woodruff is our best chance to do that.

Just throwing a few thoughts out there in hindsight. Like you say, it didn't really matter who we pitched today. When you can't score, you can't win. And we can't score more than any team I've ever seen.

Regardless of how bat the bats are or how we do this weekend, he's done a good job this season and he's got the program heading in the right direction for the first time in a decade. He knows how terrible the hitting is and he's going to make some changes next year. Ultimately, he's got to do a LOT better offensively long-term, but nobody can ***** about this season as a whole.

I almost posted this the other day, but we had been hitting a little better so I didn't. But I was thinking about our strengths, and pitching is really our only strength. So it almost would make sense for a team with a deep staff like ours, to try and win the back side of a Regional. In other words, kinda like starting Stratton on a Sunday to face the opponents worst weekend starter...

What if we had come out and started Lindgren or Evan Mitchell against Samford...if we win it's a huge bonus and then you may try to pitch Stratton to get the 2-0 start....but say we lose to Samford pitching E Mitchell. Then we pitch Lindgren and pen to beat UAB. Then pitch Pollo and pen to beat Samford....then we have Stratton, Graveman, and Woodruff plus Reed, Holder, Ross Mitchell, etc, to try and win two games against FSU versus their #2 guy and then they claim to not have much after him.

Obviously, this would probably not work, and it's a terrible thought....but if you got to Sunday evening and still had Stratton, Woodruff, and Graveman, or even 2 of them you likely win the tourney against your opponents bullpen.
