Petrino 50 percent & Long 50 percent: Petrino was just being Petrino. It might just be me but it always seemed like weird things happened at places that hired Petrino as coach, which is why I'm assessing a lot of blame to Long-- sure, he did the right thing by firing Petrino, but he never should have hired him in the first place. Long also made a bad move by making Smith head coach. He should have just elevated one of the coordinators and told him that it was a temporary gig with no chance of being head coach unless the coordinator happened to be the second coming of Steve Fisher.

Oh, who do I hate? Auburn may be the easy answer, but my answer is no one.

1. Petrino. You cannot open up your school to that kind of lawsuit. If he would have kept business and pleasure separate, this wouldn't have happened, and the hogs would still be competing for the #3 spot in the West.
2. Arkansas. That's after living in Little Rock for a year. In other states, there are opposing fanbases within the state's borders, so one team isn't overly saturated in any particular area. In Arkansas, it's all RAZORBACKS!!11!!1!!!1 and it's extremely obnoxious if you aren't on the bandwagon.

However the AD should also have known the type of person he was hiring. This was not his first incident with young women and should not have been a surprise about anyone.

As far as who we hate more? Like I was telling a man I work with I could wear an TSUN shirt with a smile but the only way I'd wear a bama shirt is if they buried me in it. I hate bama more than anyone, if you will listen to paul finebom you will figure out why. I used to visit Birmingham Al an listen to sports radio until I finally had enough an couldn't take it anymore. i see your point about little rock vs fayetteville ppl are just nicer in the northern part of the state. As for the insinuation that i want petrino back that is assinine ill never support anyone who violates equal opportunity policy for any reason i do however believe that jeff long should be fired too cuz he hired her just as much as petrino did and if his excuse is he didnt know then he didnt have enough control of the ath department and therefore wasnt doing his job
