I continue to be amazed at how piss poor our shot selection is

We pay our coaches incredibly well and they apparently are unable to teach a good what a good shot and a bad shot is. I learned that in about 9th grade.

When you're down big you have to take good shot - instead we play like we're playing a game of 21.

Everyone will say, "they were just hot." "We were just cold." That is because they play defense and have long and quick athletes. We don't play defense and do nothing on offense but play one on one. When a team with better players, who executes well. Faces a bunch of average players with no direction, the result is what we get today.

Not to mention, what you mention. It doesn't help your shooting either when you shot an off balance 25 footer with a hand in your face. Or drive into four defenders in the lane. Plus, how many possessions did UT get at the end because we throw up a quick shot.

This team is pathetic in all phases.

No excuse for that at this level. Even if we don't have a true inside game, we've got to learn to be selective. But it's been that way the whole year except for every now and then there's a glimpse of brilliance quickly followed by two steps in the wrong direction.
