I'm not even about to read this board because if I see some bashing, I will be disgusted. I hope you all agree with me that this is the best team we have fielded in any year we had with Croom. These guys never gave up, played with passion and had a will to win that Croom discouraged and sucked out.
To have a game like this after 6 years of Croom is an unbelievable achievement.
The goal line play with the pass was a beautifully designed play. LSU simply did an outstanding job getting a guy up high enough, and frankly lucky enough to bat that down. Regardless, we should have scored, Period. I refrain from basing my opinions of this team on that one series.
I know we had turnovers and some dropped passes, but our offensive sets were sound. We will win more games this year than most of us expected. I hoped for 3. I think we will have more.
The crowd looked and sounded awesome on TV.
