I didn't know #36 and have tried to refrain from posting too much about this tragedy...

but it really is humbling to see the best of people in other fanbases in times like this for our football program.

From SEC rivals to random friends of mine that are fans of other schools, the outpouring of sympathy across school loyalties towards the family/ players/ coaches etc. has had a way of restoring my faith in people outside of our own fanbase, as well as having helped me realize how unimportant these loyalties are sometimes. Sometimes we get caught up in all of that (I know I do), but perhaps in the future, my memories of the outpouring of kind words, sympathy, and goodwill that strangers from other fanbases have offered to the family, the team, and the school will give me pause.

Since I am not a part of the family, team, or school, I don't feel qualified to offer thanks on their behalf, but it is touching and humbling to me as a fan to see it.
