It was my soph year and I didn't not attend many classes and ended up with damn near a 1.0 GPA for the semester. It was a wake up call and I went form a 1.0 to the President's List every semester after.
congrats!

I've been there and done that. Twice.
Not that mine did what I advised them to do.

I worked my way through MSU and got my BS when I was 19 yo.
So I can't relate to Cam, who unlike me, is an athlete.

I don't dislike Cam either. He's indeed awesome, and doesn't need our validation for that.

And to get a player like that, hell yes I wish we could have out cheated Auburn

MSU did the right thing in the Cam Newton case and we get penalized in multiple ways. I challenge you that is goes on with every school.
If so, MSU would have paid for Newton...and did not. I hope nothing but the worst for Auburn.

..Cam Newton is a corrupt bastard who has played the system like a fiddle (I am not talking about Cecil, I am talking about Cam).

Cam Newton is a thief, cheat & grifter. He has manipulated a money hungry systeminto willingly cheapening college football to adegree college football has not been cheapened since the days before SMU got the Death Penalty.

But your heart-felt admiration for Cam Newton comes as no surprise.

for allowing his dad to run his life. I have no idea how I would react if someone approached my family with ~200K for my services. I think right now - I say "Tell me where to sign".

If he let his dad decide for him, then it doesn't matter if he didn't know about the pay for play because he had given his Dad control. It was clearly not Cam's decision where he would play, so he should not be eligible to play at Auburn, because Cam had given up his control to choose.

what was he supposed to do? Self-sanctions? All he's done is make bad decisions like 100 % of the population, and single-handedly taken a middling team to the NC. However, I do have to watch the games on mute because I really can only handle so many of Vern's ejaculations (oral or traditional).

needs to realize that we should have nutted up and paid the kid $180,000. You must be crazy to hate the kid. He is the greatest athlete that I have seen play the game at his size. And if you are wanting them to lose to Oregon you are dumb as hell. Let's continue the SEC dominance of this country. We own the NCAA (except in 2000). He really does seem like a pretty good guy. But 17 his dad.

watching this without Mississippi State emotion - he is awesome. And I still stand by my opinion that his dad is behind all of this. Cam was just listening to his dad and his dad is a POS for not letting his son make his own decision.
On the football field he is unbelievably awesome. And it still hasn't sunk in that he was supposed to our's. Hard to really picture MSU being in Auburn's shoes.

I guess it would feel like our Final Four season. As I watched each of our tournament games, I had to keep pinching myself saying damn this is Mississippi Sate. It felt like a dream.

But I loathe Cam Newton and I hope he breaks his leg on the first snap of the BCSCG and Oregon beats them by 60.
I was gonna say I hope he gets cancer of the dick.

As for DS, remember this is the guy who "enjoyed" watching LSU win the Nat' Championship.

..you've embarrassed this board, Miss. State, the SEC & college football in general by offering up this ignorant, asinine praise of Cam Newton.

Most of all, you've embarrassed yourself. By as your daily conduct here attests, you are incapable of experiencing embarrassment.

Brilliant.

MSU boosters &/or fans openly confessing on public Miss. State messageboards that, indeed, Miss. State should have paid the Newton family the required $180K.

Between **** like this & MSU boosters &/or fans using sixpackspeak.com to openly bet against Miss. State in athletic events, it's just a matter of time before Miss. State & the SEC shuts down this messageboard & proceeds to conduct an investigation of possible Miss. State athletic-releated improprieties.

And if Cam Newton gets AIDS, some people on this board need to be questioned.

because he could have stopped it. He's just as guilty as his dad, if not more so. It wouldn't bother me at all if Oregon blew out his knee in the 1st quarter.

Sweet dreams little Prince

In this case, we did not pay, your team did, and your "everyone does it" mentality says you believe Auburn paid. You want the whole truth to come out, right?

(Whatever the F that is.)

We are witnessing at a 6'6'', 250-pound third grader. I think that's why none of the stuff going on around him distracts him -- he just wants his juice, and to play his video game, and playing football is his own private game. He has no clue what's going on in the real world, he just happens to be an athletic freak.
