I don't blame Relf, I blame our receivers.

Just like in the Auburn game, our receivers don't play physical and go up for the ball. The interception that Relf threw last night could have easily been batted down or even caught if our receivers would go up and fight for the ball. Also, quit dropping passes in your 17ing hands.
Leon Berry last year basically cost us the AU game. Bumphis dropped two perfect passes IN A
ROW against AU....basically the same play call twice and he drops the ball. Marcus Green last night drops a great pass last night that would have been a 1st down.

Granted some of the passes in AU game were a little long and maybe we
Just need taller receivers, but sometimes yet need to nut
Up and fight for the ball.

That ball was clearly overthrown. Yes, out guy should have tried to make a play (LSU's guy did), but that pick was still Relf's fault.

The drops fall squarely on the shoulders of Bump and Green. Those were pathetic.

The sacks were coverage sacks and you have to give credit to LSU for those.

No way Carr was batting that pass down. It was overthrown and the defender caught it at its highest point fo rhim and he was a step in front of Carr. Carr goes for the knockdown, he misses the ball and the tackle.

You have to give credit where credit is due...<div>
</div><div>Our line pass blocked poorly, because their dline was stout.</div><div>Ourreceiversnever got open because of their defensive schemes andtheirability to cover.</div><div>
</div><div>But to your point, we can't afford drops either.</div>

They said that the DB put his forearm on the back of the receiver keeping him from getting off the ground. I really does not matter because the ball was overthrown.

just do something that might give the defensive player a little tougher catch than pitching the ball with his friend on the sideline. Just throwing his hands up might have made a difference. From my view and watching the replay our guy saw it sailing too high for him to haul in so he basically shrugged during a long step. It is stuff like this that is taught during Pee-wee / Jr. High ball about giving effort that is embarrassing to watch out of our players.

The fault of the interception definitely lies on Chris Relf, but #86 (Michael Carr?) has to put out some effort and at least try something.

and it's been picked off both times. When the corner saw Carr break inside, the corner just went ahead and ran the route and looked like the intended receiver. Carr mis-timed his steps and wasn't able to make a play on the ball. At some point, we need to mix in a post-corner route.
