but they need to be fired.

Bittle has thrown 6 innings, struck out 9, given up 1 hit and no runs at the box so far.

By having Bittle start Sundays, he leave open the option to use him as a closer on Friday or Saturday if he needs to. Not sure if that's Bianco's thinking or not.

but if not, start him on Sunday. Though our new closer has done ok himself, so maybe Bittle can stay a starter.

As for the injury, if I remember right he always said he isn't hurt.

has settled in on Morgan as the closer. In fact, he just brought him in in 8th. Questionable despite how good he's been.

They have guys like Pomeranz and Irwin that also have Friday night stuff, it's just sad to see how much more talent other teams have. But our time will come, we have a lot of good arms coming in next year (assuming that they don't elect to go pro). I really hope we get to see C.C. Watson in maroon and white next year, because he has the chance the really be something special for us.

got racked when he started, but I think he feels much more comfortable coming out of the bull pen.

Surely, there was SOMETHING that came up.

For example, Aaron Weatherford had a TON of inflammation in his pitching shoulder. According to second hand info, the MD for the Rockies was like, "What have you been doing?"- or in this case not doing. They still signed him, but they just shut him down for the year and told him to be ready for spring training.

And it's not like Bittle has had some arm problems in the past- at least not to my knowledge.

It can't be "Well Scott, your blood pressure is 125/82, so we're not going to sign you."
