I agree that we need a change, but I'm afraid we may become a team/program similar to Auburn. I will admit that I thought we would attract a better coach.

Lebo was a terrible hire, and it was a terrible hire the moment they announced it. Auburn hired Lebo the year after he went 19-11 overall and 10-6 in the Southern Conference at UT Chattanooga. That was a mediocre hire at best, and Cliff Ellis did them no favors when he left. They had less than nothing when they hired Lebo. We at least have some talent with Hood, Steele, and Zeidaks, and a very solid recruiting class.
Bryce at leastcomes from good basketball andcoaches and had success in probably the best mid major conference in the country.I just don't see him being a total bust like Lebo was. I think in 3 or 4 years under Drew we will at least maintain what Stansbury has done over the past 3 years. I know that wouldn't be considered success, but I just don't see us regressing to mid to late 2000's Auburn.</p>

We are similar to Auburn. We have the same number of tourney wins as they do in the last 4 years. And with the exception of the Mississippi and Kentucky games, our attendance is right on par with theirs.
but I'm afraid we could easily slip into a similar rut. But you make good points, and I would have guessed our attendance would be much higher, but you did omit our two biggest crowds. After speaking with my source, it looks like it's going to be Drew but it's still a possibility it could be one of the assistants still coaching in the tourney.
