I think we overreact way too much to stuff like this. I think it's more between the ears with these guys than it is coaching. Bost was too confident coming in, especially for a guy that couldn't throw it in the ocean right now. I'm betting our whole team felt that same way. A lot of times you can't have talent without attitudes. I think Stans is worse at managing attitudes and getting control of his team than he is X's and O's. I think we will pull a few upsets, win a few road games, wind up 9-7 and make it to the tourney as a #8/#9....win one and then play the #1 pretty close only to lose at the end. But, since we made it to the dance and almost beat the #1 seed, there will be no justifying getting rid of stans. I guess I'm one of those guys that thinks we can't get anybody else that can do better at State, because I would rather have a shot in the tourney every year than be watching it from home like Ole Miss year in year out. We get rid of Stans and the tables will likely turn, Ole Miss will begin getting more recruits and we will slowly decline. I may be wrong, and I may get blasted, but I think Stans is consistent at turning us into contenders in the SEC. Maybe not much more, but I can live with that. One day we will make a run with all of the talent he brings in, and I'm not sure anyone else reels in that kind of talent or coaches up scrubs enough to surpass Stans' consistent winning. It comes down to asking yourself this......Am I willing to risk consistent trips to the dance for a chance at possibly becoming better? How much better can we be with a different coach? Sweet Sixteen? Only 16 teams per year make it further than where we typically finish under Stans, and in my world as a State fan that's pretty damn good. I'm not sure whether to hit POST or put *******'s at the end of this message. Here ya go *****<div>
