I don't think we'll get a game in tonight and it's not looking any better for

tomorrow. Futurecast radar shows rain all afternoon tomorrow in Starkville. Doesn't show it moving out til early evening. We might be able to squeeze one game in but two is gonna be extremely hard to do.

MSU just tweeted that they expect the rain to move out before game time and that they plan on playing tonight.

Sun has come out in Tupelo after 1-2 in. of rain. Glad I'm not a farmer needing to plant.

Well.....I'm in that boat. Still, we should be in good shape. Some of the lighter soils in the delta dry out pretty quick and we're not too late as far as getting in beans and cotton.

The heavy clay soil in the Huntsville area is much slower drying out. We had about 6" 10 days ago and it's still saturated. Now, we've had more than another half inch and it's still raining ... might get the 1-2" here before it's over.

I don't now when it's too late to plant here but I don't see how they can even get in the fields now. But I'm not a farmer so I don't really know. We've had lots of rain this spring. Probably won't get any this summer.
