I expected better offense because Relf can do what Lee couldn't do last year.

I had no way of knowing that we would virtuallychange our offensive schemein the offseason. Out of the millions of things that we try to do on offense, we have more success the closer we get to last year's look: Relf threatening the defense with his feet. Of course we miss Dixon, but our scheme hasn't even given us a chance to know how much we miss him. I think Russell is fine. He, like most QB's has no chance when we present no threat on the ground. So far, this has been more our choice than that we just can't run it. My 2.

Ralph has zero QB smarts in there. Even Russell got out of the pocket some. If he doesn't run, it's like he's cemented to his position 8 feet behind the OL. He's strong and can run, but he will not make the complete package of plays you need as your QB.

Put Russell at QB and Ralph in as a RB. Of course, you still need a line with some gonads to block for you, but that's another topic altogether.
