It was a cluster17. He didn't know the recruits he was talking about, no video of signees, McCorvey couldn't name the QB signee. I guess the foreshadowing should have been clear.

you can make almost any HS senior look like an All-American by putting a few of his best plays together. I remember I went to one they year Sherrill signed Kyle York and thinking he was going to be an all everything QB watching his video. Of course we know how that story went.
